Ruins of Covenant.
Covenant was once a major city of the Province, with Shepherd's Gate serving as one of main gates. It is said that Alric lived there during his early years of adolescence. The city once held the Great University during the height of its time. Somewhere in 2330 A.E and one hundred and fifty years before events of Myth: The Fallen Lords, a war of succession was fought around Covenant.
In 2468 AE of the Great War, the armies of the Dark sieged the cities of Covenant and Tyr, scattering the survivors of the Province into the Free Cities of the North. As the city was being sacked and destroyed by Soulblighter, the prince regent Mauriac saved the future king's life by leading him and his family through a secret underground tunnel connected to the town of Shoal. On September 15, 2480 AE, a group from the Legion had to enter the ruins of Covenant to retrieve the Total Codex before the Watcher could get his hand on it. Mauriac, who was now a warrior captain, provided them with the location of the secret tunnel so they could make their escape.
Parts of Covenant was rebuilt during the sixty years peace, which included the construction of the Great Library.
