Shalam

The Shalam were a group of Ice Giants living in the northern parts of the world. They remained hidden for centuries and came into conflict with the Trow after the events of Myth 2 Soulblighter. The Shalam were close to Boncuar and served him. 

Boncuar eventually found out that they could be controlled by an artifact known as the Articus. Boncuar found and reversed the magic of this artifact, and allowed the Shalam to retain the peaceful personalities. Seeing the spell lifted, the Shalam began to fight and act as guardians to the north once more.
