Skrael

The Skrael were a race of snake reptilian from the Kingdom of Yer-Ks. These creatures could move with great speed on land or water, although they could only go on marshy terrain. Being amphibious, they could go in any depth of water. It is believed that if one dies in battle, a Skrael is reborn seven times to avenge itself.

Description[]

It was said that the Skrael came into contact with the humans during the Age of Reason, offering a scaled hand to Emperor Clovis and his warriors in friendship.

During the the Wind Age, their kingdom fell beneath the waves of the ocean by an unknown magical anomaly, and they suffered extreme losses to their race (they would have been repopulated by the time of the events in Myth: The Fallen Lords however). They ended up making their homes in the Deep Mire south of the Drowned Kingdom of Yer-Ks.

With the foot speed of Berserks, the Skrael can throw stones and close attack with spears, dishing out a take a good amount of damage. A very versatile unit to the Light, the Skrael King dedicated their race to the Light as they were strongly opposed to all undead and those who served the Dark.

The Skrael have since been used in plugins such as Sir Mauriac's Tale, the Coming of the Dark Level Pack, and the Havre River.
