Not much is known of the Spider Cult in Llancarfan, but their members appeared to have been made up of those who came from poor backgrounds and broken homes. The cult were also responsible for the disappearance of a good number of people. Some were drawn to join their sect while others were kidnapped for unspeakable rituals. They drew their recruits in the shadows of the city's alleyways, whispering the name of the Spider God Syrkrosh.
On April 13th, 1439 A.E, the Spider Cult occupied the Smiths Forge in the Main Forum and stole several artifacts (The Tain and the SunHammer), causing Connacht to lead a successful rescue mission. The next day late during the night, the Smiths of Muirthemne snuck into the Spider Temple to take back the artifacts, and used the Tain to trap the cultists and Syrkrosh with themselves, putting an end to the Spider Cult.
