The Mausoleum of Clovis is a royal tomb in within Muirthemne (formally called Llancarfan). It was built by the dwarves in honor of Clovis, the first emperor of the Cath Bruig Empire. The crypt also houses the past rulers and northern heroes who gave up their lives defending the empire. It is said that ghosts haunt the halls of the mausoleum to reenact their battles of the past, and kill those who attempt to steal treasure from the sacred vaults.
When Balor sacked and raved Muithemine during the the Wolf Age, the Ibis Crown was hidden away beneath the underground labyrinth of the royal tomb. One hundred years later, the Legion reclaimed the city and journeyed into the haunted mausoleum to find the crown. After retrieving the lost treasure, Alric was crowned the new emperor of the Cath Bruig and the Heron Guard were reborn.
