The Vigilance is a royal ship of King Alric that was docked on the shores of Madrigal during the Second War. On October 10, 2540 AE, Shiver returned with an army of Myrkridia and Soulless to attack Madrigal. Alric had to lead the Legion and some of the city's survivors onboard the Vigilance to make their escape to Tandem, sailing for several months along the Western Ocean.
They later discovered that the Dark had occupied the fort of White Falls. On November 16, the Vigilance sailed Alric and the Legion to the Falls when cannons attempted to shoot down the ship. After reaching the shores, the Legion sieged the enemy and took back the fort.
