Tireces was a poet and philosopher from the east during the Axe Age (also known as the Age of Darkness). When the Leveler of that era, Soroganth the Flayed, attempted to bring destruction to the World of Myth, Tireces stood up for the city-state of Tiruth'Dannor when he rallied an army against Soroganth's legions. After a long tough battle, the poet beheaded the Flayed. Soroganth's body was touched and the name of Tireces the Immortal would live on in Myth's history, ushering in the Age of Reason. He was also one of the original founders of the Cath Bruig Empire along with Clovis the Wise.
Consequently, Tireces would return to the world a millennium later as Moagim, another life vessel of the Leveler.
